WHO IS WORTHY?
Text: Rev. 5:2. KJV.

“And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to loose
its seals.” (KJV)
The verse:In Revelation, chapter 5 verse 2, the Bible reveals an all-powerful, super-divine
appearance from the future. There is (1) A strong angel. (2) A loud voice. (3) The scroll. (4) Seals and
certainly more in its detailed analysis. This is an ensemble of holy revelations to Apostle John. A
strong angel, the angel’s loud voice, the scroll, and seals that can be handled by one who is holy,
who is without sin, who is pure, and who is certainly above all. Thus, the question “Who is worthy”?

The question tears through the hearts of his audience, and it provokes a sad reality in verse 3.
Quote “And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the scroll neither to look on it.” Worst of all verse 4 rips the heart apart by the weeping, tears, of the apostle
because “no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither to look on it.” A reveal of
an impending dump for all sinners, with no hope. Something must be done. Arise. Stand up.

The discernment: There is an urgent need for the Messiah, a need to rescue the perishing, a need
to live holy lives, a need to open the book of life, a need to read the scroll, and a need to lose the seals.
We know that Jesus Christ is worthy, he is without sin, he is holy, he shed his blood for the salvation of all who receive him, and believe in him,  he is pure, he is the Son of God, and he is the anointed One. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is worthy to open the scroll. Receive Jesus Christ today for the salvation of your soul. Read John 3:16; Romans 10:9; 13. Matt 11:28. Glory be to God.
