GOD PROMISED TO GIVE

WEEK OF TUESDAY, JULY 30th TO MONDAY August 5th, 2024

GOD PROMISED TO GIVE.

        Text: Matt.7:7. KJV.

“Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (KJV)

Jesus Christ while preaching and teaching his disciples about the blessings of the Kingdom of God, guides them to seek first the Kingdom of God when dealing with anxiety and depression. Christ goes further into his sermon by providing a Kingdom of God promise. Christ promises that God will give “all things” to everyone who asks, seeks, and knocks. Christ said: “It shall be given” to you.

“Ask, and it shall be given you” is an encouragement taught by Jesus Christ to the child of God willing to live in a Kingdom relationship with God the Father. Jesus Christ encourages the saint to ask the God the Father because Father God has taken charge of the burden of living for God. Establishing a relationship, and a fellowship with God is foundational in living communication. The promise of answered prayers is to everyone who abides, and dwells in the word of God to ask for all things and God the Father will give. [Matt 21:22; Lk 11:9-13; Jn 15:7].

“Seek, and ye shall find” is also an illustration guiding all the prayer warriors to continue praying. When they ask, they should also seek the answer to the promise. The God of the Kingdom will enable the seeker to find. God has the answer to every human need. Seeking is a step of asking.

“Knock, and it shall be opened unto you” promises that some answers to prayer are kept in very highly secure places. And some answers need kingdom doors to open, locks to open, windows to open, hears to open, hearts to open, laws to open, and above all heavens to open.

Verse of the Week: Esther 4:16. KJV.

“Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.”
