CHRISTIAN RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF CHRIST

WEEK OF TUESDAY, JULY 16th TO MONDAY JULY 22th, 2024

  Text: Rev. 3:20. KJV.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (KJV)

It is always glorious to be where Christians are deep in the word of God. And they have a heart for fellowship, worship, faithfulness, joy, and love of God and family. Fellowship is very healthy.

THE PROMISE OF FELLOWSHIP: Revelation 3:20 is one of the greatest verses mentioned by pastors, missionaries, evangelists, preachers, teachers, and Christian Educators. The reason is because Jesus Christ rebukes and speaks to a Christian, and a Church in this verse. Without Christ, there is no Christianity. The promise of Jesus Christ is a new life of eternal fellowship with the Lord. He is the Alpha and Omega. He promises to come into the house of their lives to have fellowship.

Why?  Because they are not hot or cold. They are lukewarm. The rich Church at Laodicea has lost its focus on fellowship and their riches have distracted them from their first love for Jesus Christ. Christians, and the Church risk shutting the door of fellowship with Christ. In Matthew 7:7; Jesus Christ says “Knock and it shall be open” and in this verse, Christ is not only inviting, Christ humbly is knocking for those who hear to open. His passion, mercy, will, compassion, and grace is at work. Confession, repentance, and sanctification is needed. Let us encourage one another to maintain daily fellowship with the Lord.

RECEIVE THE MESSIAH: Open your heart, open your life, and receive Jesus Christ for eternal fellowship. Return to Jesus Christ eternal lamb of God. John 3:16, Rev. 19:9.

Romans 10:13. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Verse of the Week: Rev. 21:6. KJV.

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”
