RESILIENCE IS REWARDING

WEEK OF TUESDAY, JULY 9th TO MONDAY JULY 15th, 2024

 RESILIENCE IS REWARDING.

          Text: Rev. 3:8. KJV.

“I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it; for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (KJV)

With your little strength faithfulness and resilience have continued to be the order of the day in the Philadelphia Church. Let us learn a lesson or two from the Word of God to the Philadelphia Church in Rev.3:7-13. Reading the letter, we realize that God is watching what we do; and what we say in private; and in public. And God rewards faithfulness. We also know that it is a blessing to be faithful and loyal to the Lord. It is also true that little is much when God is being obeyed. The greatest work is faithfully performed and lived out with a little faithful strength—the mystery of faith. Despite our daily challenges let us keep the word of God, let us be faithful to Christ, and God will glorify his name in all that we do.

You did not deny Jesus Christ: Being faithful to Jesus Christ is a very big deal. The Philadelphia Church was rewarded for not denying the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord was so honored that Christ decided in Rev.3:10-12 to save them from coming trouble; Christ will preserve their faith, give them a crown of honor, make them a pillar of honor, and give them a new name. Let us continue working, serving, living, and abiding in God in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Resilience in our walk with our Savior, and Lord is rewarding.

Promise: Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Declaring the end from the beginning. [Is 46:9-10.]
